Bio
I graduated from the University of Colorado Denver and Colorado Film School with a BFA in Writing and Directing for Theater, Film and Television in 2008.
My interests include television, film, literature, comic books, video games, the internet and…
Drum Corps
In the Fall of 2000 I joined the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps (from Denver, CO) playing the Soprano Bugle and performed with them through the 2003 season.
For the 2004 season I flew out to Concord, CA to join the Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps. This time I played the Mellophone. I spent 4 years performing as a Blue Devil including a tour of Europe, a world championship performance in Pasedena, CA and a trip to Japan.
After aging out in 2007 I then joined a local all-age corps, High Country Brass, at first playing Mellophone and later playing Soprano. Eventually I wrote the drill for the 2009 program. I took a year off in 2010, then came back as a visual instructor in 2011 before picking up a Soprano and performing with them at DCA Finals in Rochester, NY.
In the summer of 2008 I asked to volunteer on support staff for the Blue Devils. I have been working for the corps during every summer tour ever since, including during the undefeated 2009 and 2010 seasons. I look forward to joining the corps again for their 2012 tour.
