The hardest part of making these little devil toys is the cape/skirt/panel (choose whichever term you prefer!)

I finally realized there’s an easy way to make a ton of them at once.

The capes are made out of aluminum foil, so that they can bend etc. but are sturdy enough to withstand an onslaught of paint. I use a couple of coats of paint, and a couple of coats of mod podge (a clear gloss finish).  Aluminum foil by itself tears pretty easily, but the loads of paint and finish make it a bit more durable.

In related news, my travel to California has been rescheduled and I will arrive in San Diego on Monday afternoon, I can’t wait!
